Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, some food pantries have made changes to their hours or method of operation.
The food pantry at St. Paul’s Lutheran, 321 Park Ave N, Medford, is open from 4 to 5 pm on Thursdays. Clients should park in the lot and see one of the volunteers by the front door to be assigned a number. That number will give them a position in line for the food to be brought out to their vehicle. The volunteers ask that space be available in the trunk of your car or bed of pick-up to make it as safe as possible for all.
The Indianhead Food Pantry (ICAA Taylor Co. Food Pantry), 508 S 8th St (State Highway 13) in Medford has returned to its regular hours: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Food pantry staff will take selections from the shelves and bag/box them. Clients will not be able to handle the food items directly and will be expected to maintain at least 6 feet of distance while waiting. Clients should make sure there is room in their car, preferably the trunk, for the food boxes. Follow the ICAA Food Pantry on Facebook.
Ruby’s Pantry, which is held the 4th Saturday of each month at the Medford Armory, 630 Jensen Dr, is asking all clients to stay in their cars. Food will be placed in the trunk of the car. For more information, call 715-965-8768 or 715-785-5260.
